This is dedicated to my Ally with a very special thanks to Marty Harbin.

I adopted Ally in 2002 when Paws and Prayers was not well known. Marty fostered Ally and fell in love with her but gave her to me to take home. Marty said, "If she doesn't work out, just bring her back. She is a love bug."

The first day I had her Ally wanted to go back to Marty because she ran away from my house!!! I was frantic and called Marty; she came up to Bedford from Akron to help us look for her. We didn't find her that day, but Marty suggested putting Ally's blanket on my front lawn "because you never know." Lo and behold Ally was on that blanket the next morning. Marty had come back to my house and I was very happy to report Ally found that darn blanket!!! From that day forward Ally put her trust in me to take care of her. We had such a special bond, I don't think any other dog can fill the loss I felt when she passed away last year.

I do have another dog now and I love him in a different way, but I still miss Ally every single day.
