Arthur came to me from the Wayne County Humane Society. He was 10 years old, partially blind, couldn't hear very will and he had 2 abcesses in his mouth along with heartworms. I decided I wanted to foster Arthur to give him the feeling of love and a nice home for his remaining time. Arthur was one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met. He was really friendly, didn't mind other dogs playing with him even though he couldn't play much and he just wanted to snuggle and be loved. I made the decision to put Arthur down when I saw he was in a lot of pain. Medication wouldn't have relieved it and he was struggling to walk and even to lay down. Arthur had much spirit right until the end and will forever be remembered in my heart.
